The creation of each Cultilite’s product represents a true challenge for us: to put at the service of our biggest passion, the indoor growing, all the technical competences acquired through years of experience in this sector.
The particular attention we pay to our customers’ needs by picking up and elaborating their feedback, allow us to realize a continuous work of research and improvement in order to get always better products and to suit growers more and more aware and informed.
Our Design Offices located in England put a lot of effort into analyzing and testing our competitor’s lamps in order to collect all the needed information to realize lamp more reliable, durables and well-performing.
In addition to the use of quality components, the entire panel cooling system has been redesigned for this lamp in order to avoid any possible overheating problem: the common aluminum heat sink has proved inadequate to effectively carry out the heat generated by the lamp and has been replaced by special copper dissipators, known as one of the most effective heat conducting materials.
Even the inside structure of the panel has been revised and optimized: thanks to special arrangements, it was possible to create spots containing 25 LEDs one to produce more powerful panels and considerably reduced dimensions, since the LED panels Cultilite can also be used in small environments.
Another of the innovations in the COB LED Focus 250W Cultylite is that of modular ignition mode, in fact, it is also possible to turn on only half of the panel to allow the farmer to increase or decrease the luminous flux in relation to the increased or decreased light requirements . This possibility translates into less energy consumption and consequently lower costs for cultivating.
In the right proportion, the use of the far-red (740 nm) serves to stimulate and promote photosynthesis: this is a wavelength at the spectrum limit visible to the human eye, which is why the diode at the center of each module might look less luminous than others.
In fact, however, the plants are equipped with far-sensitive, phytochromes, which use for photosynthesis.
The optical lenses associated with each chip have the ability to diverge the light emitted by the diode to cover a larger portion of space: when, however, the optical lens extends excessively the light beam it runs the risk of excessive light scattering and therefore have a less effective lamp.
Replacing the classic 120 ° lens lenses with the new 90 ° lenses allows the beam to be centered on a smaller surface to increase the plant’s final output accordingly.
Cultured panels can also be connected to each other through the special universal socket on the back of the case. The socket can also be used to feed other accessories used in the grow room.
